Vahey Residence Santa Fe, New Mexico
It all started when…
I was in High School woodshop. That was when I first got my hands on hardwoods and learned the beginning techniques for fine woodworking. After high school I became a full time carpenter, in between skiing, surfing and biking!! Then in 2013 my pregnant wife and I moved from the mountains of Colorado to the ocean of San Diego and I started my apprenticeship in fine woodworking with my good friend and mentor Phil Audia of A and A Craftworks. He taught me so much in patience, perfection, and what it takes to become a master craftsmen. Although I would not consider myself a master craftsmen yet, the knowledge I gained from that time there was unforgettable and will forever stay with me. After 2 years down south we decided to migrate north with kid in tow and some knowledge of fine woodworking. I then spent 2 years with Bahn Camper Works as there chief craftsmen, building and installing all the custom cabinets and furniture that went into the campers. Then in 2017 I chose to go out on my own pursuing custom cabinets and furniture for clients in White Salmon, Washington and the surrounding area.
